When you feel that you can’t go on with your writing, take a break. Get off the computer for a day and clear your mind. When you next go back to work on your writing, think positive. By doing so you will find the strength and determination to carry on and reach the goals in your life. I know from experience that after finding myself in a deep hole many years ago, thanks to being positive I ended up enjoying an incredible life. So take heart and don’t give up. Success can be your in the end.
I am a 77yr old Englishman married to a Turkish lady and living in Istanbul. I love writing and had six books published. My latest is Impending Disaster, with my previous book A Dangerous Love Affair an erotic novel. Before that I wrote For the Greater Good, my memoir Follow in the Tigerman's Footprints, and An Expat's Experiences of Living in Turkey.” I also wrote Terror Holiday, which is based on the attempted coup in Turkey in 2016. One of my articles has been published in ExpatNetwork, a UK expat magazine, with over 12 articles published in online magazines. I also write poems with several doing well in poetry contests. As a lover of wild animal and nature, I worked as a volunteer at Animal rescue centers in South Africa and Thailand. I am a supporter of Born Free/Care for the Wild, Greenpeace and Sea Shepherd.
